Influenza and coronavirus vaccination

Influenza Vaccination

• The vaccines are expected to arrive in Osterøy municipality during week 42.
• Those who have a general practitioner in Osterøy and are recommended to receive the influenza vaccine can book an appointment for vaccination after week 42. Please get in touch with the medical centre by sending an electronic appointment request, “appointment wish,” through Helsenorge.no/app, or by calling your medical centre to arrange a time. The vaccine costs 250 kroner.
• Children, pregnant individuals, and those without a general practitioner who administers vaccinations can receive the influenza vaccine at Osterøy health station. 
  • The cost, apart from for children, is 250 kroner.

Vaccination Dates

Drop-in for vaccinations at the Family and Care Centre (Osterøy helsestasjon):

• 23rd October from 13:00 to 17:00
• 24th October from 13:00 to 17:00
• 6th November from 13:00 to 17:00
• 7th November from 13:00 to 17:00

You may also receive the influenza vaccine at a pharmacy if you wish.

Coronavirus Vaccination

The municipality does not have agreements with general practitioner surgeries or pharmacies for coronavirus vaccination. All residents in the target groups who are recommended the coronavirus vaccine can receive it free of charge at Osterøy health station.
